Students interested in running and being involved in the Management Club should speak with a Management Faculty Member.
This club is part of the Student Association and is a group of Management students, who get together to support each other and have fun. Please check the club out and get involved!!

Management Club Constitution
Article I: Name
The official name of this organization will be the Management Club.
Article II: Mission
To enhance educational and social activities of all Management students.
Article III: Meetings
The management club will meet on a bi-weekly basis. Special meetings and activities will be called by President as the need arises. Students will be consulted in the planning and scheduling of all meetings and special events.
Article IV: Membership
Membership will include any interested students who are registered at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. The management club is a non-discriminatory organization. Membership consists of voluntary participation by the students of the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
Article V: Officers
Officers will be elected by the members of the club. Leadership roles will be bestowed upon students currently enrolled at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology on the basis of their initiative and recognized ability by other group members. The offices will include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer. The term of these offices will be for one semester. The responsibility of the President will be to preside at all meetings and to perform any necessary requirements of his/her office. The Vice President shall perform the President's duties when he/she is absent as well as perform any duties that would be necessary. The Secretary shall keep an up to date record of membership and shall conduct all the correspondence necessary for the operation of the management club. The Treasurer shall be responsible for the financial duties therein. These offices shall be called the executive council of the management club.
Article VI: Rules of Procedure
The most recent version of Robert's Rules of Order shall be the authority on procedure and rules not covered by this constitution. The quorum shall be one half of the active membership listed on the secretary's roster.
Article VII: Amendments
The constitution may be amended at any regular or special business session of the organization by a two thirds majority vote of the active members present, provided that a written statement shall have been read and distributed to the organization's active membership and deposited with the executive council no less than fourteen days prior to the date of voting. Amendments which need to be made to the constitution:
- The name of the club needs to be established.
- The purpose of the club needs to be defined.
- Frequency of meetings needs to be determined.
- Offices need to be determined as well as the duties associated with the offices.

Announcements
The Management Club will be holding a meeting in Spear Conference Room 102 on Thursday September 20, 2001 at 6:30 PM (Rescheduled from: Tuesday September 11th postponed due to terrorist attacks) to discuss the Fall 2001 Semester.
The Management Club will be hosting an End of Spring 2001 Semester Party on May 10. Please call or e-mail for more information.
