Biography
-Dr. Subhasish Mazumdar (Computer Science) - is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Adjunct Associate Professor of Management at New Mexico Tech.
Interests
His current research interests include problems of integrity of distributed and mobile databases, the integration of pre-existing heterogeneous databases and documents, as well as a conceptual modeling approach to information systems and software development.
He has received support for his research from Sandia National Laboratory and the National Science Foundation. He is a member of the ACM, IEEE Computer Society, and Sigma Xi.

Education
-He received his B. Tech (Honors) and M.E. (Distinction) in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore respectively. His M.S. and PhD degrees in Computer Science were both from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
